Campgrounds
We are the only campgrounds directly on the upper Ouachita River! Our campgrounds have 14 Primitive Campsites and 2 sites with water and electric hookups for campers and RVs.
All of our sites provide ample space for you and your family, under a beautiful tree canopy. There won't be others strolling through the middle of your set up or disturbing your peace.
All sites have a fire ring and picnic table.
There are campground men's and women's restrooms and showers. Nothin fancy, but there's nice hot water!
Premier Riverfront Primitive Sites
Our premier sites are the 5 best primitive sites on the property - DIRECTLY next to the Ouachita river and feature access to the river from your site.
Each premier site has a picnic table, fire ring and grill grate.
Pet friendly, all pets must be friendly to other dogs and people, leashed outside of tent, and cleaned up after.
MAXIMUM 1 vehicle at campsite (additional vehicles can park in day use area for $5/day). MAXIMUM 4 guests per site.
*rooftop tents and camper vans (max 170" wheelbase) are allowed.
No trailers, No RVs, No generators allowed.
Nestled between Ouachita National Forest property and the Ouachita River, our Haven is a peaceful little slice of nature for you to take a break, catch your breath, and enjoy the outdoors! Property has 1000 ft of river access, with canoe & kayak docks, swimming hole, volleyball and tetherball, horseshoes, swings.
We offer hiking, mountain biking, and river shuttles as well as canoe/kayak/tube rentals and shuttles. Such trips should be reserved in advance by messaging us or visiting our website.
Our office sells firewood for $5/bundle. We also have a small array of custom woodwork items from our woodshop, freeze dried snacks and hiking restocks, food from local vendors, and souvenirs!
All primitive sites have a picnic table, fire ring, and campfire grill grate.
Campground restrooms and showers are a short walk from campgrounds.
Forest Primitive Sites
All of our primitive sites are within 100 feet of the river. Under a canopy of beautiful forest, in one of the darkest sky areas of the state. These sites are not RIGHT on the river, just a 30 second walk will take you there though!
Each site has a picnic table, fire ring, and grill grate.

With 1000 ft of riverfront access, you can stay and play! Our rec area features a river swimming hole, volleyball net, tetherball, horseshoes, swings, and a kayak/canoe dock. Canoe, kayak, and tube rentals are available on site as well as shuttles up river, hiking shuttles, and mountain biking shuttles.
45 minutes from Hot Springs, 40 minutes from Mena, we are close to Crystal mining, hiking, ATV trails, and 3 IMBA epic mountain bike trails!
Firewood is available for sale as well as a small menagerie of local and handmade goods and souvenirs in our office.
