Ouachita River Haven is your year-round vacation destination. Nestled in the Ouachita National Forest, there are an abundance of activities available in our area including fishing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, and mountain biking and crystal mining.
Surrounded by the Ouachita National Forest, we have 1000 feet of river frontage on the clear and clean waters of the Ouachita River. Ouachita River Haven is truly deep in nature.
We offer a variety of accommodations for your vacation. From primitive campsites, to a honeymoon cabin with hot tub ..we have a place for you!

Location
Located in West Central Arkansas in the heart of the Ouachita Mountains. The Haven is conveniently located 45 miles West of Historic Hot Springs and 35 miles East of Mena Arkansas. Hot Springs is known for its horse racing and natural hot springs spas. Mena, for it's Queen Wilhelmina State Park, atop the second highest mountain in the state. The Ouachita River Haven is only 10 miles from the World Famous Quartz Crystal Mines of Mt. Ida and 60 miles from Murfreesboro, Arkansas, home of the only diamond mine in North America.
